The materials presented in this teaching portfolio were developed during the Fall 2019 semester at the University of New Mexico, for the graduate course SPAN541: Approaches to Language Teaching Methodology. The four lesson plans were planned around the central theme of travelling, one of my personal passions, and are designed to be followed in sequence from one to four. They are intended to showcase my personal teaching principles: Providing interesting and authentic comprehensible input, that serves a real-world communicative purpose, and includes language use from across the Spanish-speaking world.

The WebQuest was a collective effort, created by myself and two of my colleagues in the Spanish Department at UNM, Claudia Cardenas & Edgar Soto-Zúñiga, with a theme of Latino immigration in the United States.
